During the coronavirus pandemic, so many people have given their time and effort to help others. Whether this has been delivering much needed supplies of food or medicine and the key workers continuing their day to day jobs to keep things moving.
Construction companies have been working intermittently, some completely grinding to a halt over the last couple of months. Now that construction is starting up again, RPS would like to give something back and offer a helping hand to construction sites in the Tees Valley. We will provide a free pallet collection service to construction companies in DL and TS postcodes.
To help construction firms not to worry about pallet disposal, we will provide a free of charge collection for scrap pallets. This means we’ll organise the collection, handling and disposal of unwanted pallets. No transport charges, no skip charges and no handling costs. It’s completely free. We’ll take the hassle out of pallets for you.
This service is for grade A wood waste, such as used wooden pallets, and at present we cannot accept certain scrap wood including old door and window frames, painted wood or treated wood. If in doubt, give us a call to discuss. RPS will provide a sustainable solution for used pallets by shredding any that cannot be reused so they can be recycled or used for biomass.
Our free collection service will launch on June 1st and will run until October 1st, 2020.
Don’t forget our Pallet Gate is still open! Our free drop-off service is available to those who can deliver their pallets to us and if your pallets have reusable value, we could potentially provide a rebate.
If you have any questions about our new service, get in touch on our LinkedIn company page or Tweet us @RPS_Limited.
