Relationships with local businesses is key to maintaining high standards

At RPS, we have high standards. This is why we work with high quality contractors, meaning we can rest assured that all machinery, including our big bag cleaning rigs and pallet repair work benches, is working safely and efficiently.

RPS relies on the relationships we have built with local companies, in particular Elmtree Fabrications and Richard Parvin Electrical Services who we have worked closely with for many years.

Elmtree Fabrications has recently modified our pallet repair work benches enabling our operatives to carefully handle and inspect pallets whilst working on the bench.

Elmtree’s expertise is also being put to good use with our baling and compacting equipment which have undergone a full refurbishment. Elmtree will now continue to regularly service the machinery ensuring it maintains a high level of safety and performance.

Richard Parvin Electrical Services has provided a range of services for RPS since we were founded in 2002 and continues to be our preferred electrical supplier.

Whether it’s a desktop computer screen or a movable piece of machinery, the team from Richard Parvin provides the necessary PAT testing to make sure all equipment on our site is working safely.

Working with our Site Manager Jez Norton, Richard ensures the necessary health and safety requirements in all matters, for example sufficient lighting is in place, not only meeting but exceeding expectations. Richard has also recently completed the testing of fixed wire installations, all to industry standard.

Overall, as many of our onsite pieces of machinery operate using electricity, it’s important that everything continues to work properly. We’re lucky that in the event of an electrical failure we can call upon Richard to come to site and fix the problem with minimal disruption and downtime.

RPS operates a comprehensive maintenance schedule and with the help of local businesses, we are able to maintain a commendable platform.

To us, it’s important to work closely with North East and Yorkshire-based businesses like these, to build a relationship and trust, ensure operations continue to run smoothly and maintain our high standards.
