You’ve probably heard of Tinder – well, this is Timber. Each month, we’ll be introducing you to our collection of pallets, because everyone needs a little love.
Name: Grade A Standard Pallet
Key stats: I’m 1200 x 1000mm with good top board coverage and nine blocks.
About me: Nobody likes a show-off, but I do have a full perimeter base, which means I have boards all the way around my base, so I can sit flush with the floor. I’m also really flexible and can be easily moved using a pallet truck.
Skills: If you’re looking for a safe pair of hands, that’s me! I’m a real heavyweight and can hold up to one tonne of product safely. I’m also good in crowds; on an artic lorry, you can load up to 26 lifts of products using me.
Likes: I love storing goods in racking, and I can hold a multitude of different products. I don’t like to limit myself, but these include those packed in cardboard boxes or sacks.
Dislikes: Being recycled. Luckily, I’m part of the RPS team, so I know they’ll keep reusing me for as long as possible – I’ve got plenty of staying power!
