We’re very pleased to introduce to you the newest addition to RPS! Our vehicle is now fully refurbished and ready to take on pallet collections and deliveries.
After purchasing our new vehicle in November last year, we thought the newest member of the team deserved a makeover. Following a fresh lick of paint and new branding, our Mercedes Atego 18te vehicle is now on the road.
Our Logistics Manager, Janice, manages the vehicle with our Driver, Chris Gibson, behind the wheel.
We purchased the vehicle to not only support our regional deliveries but also improve our delivery and collection times.
Since our vehicle hit the road, we have monitored our carbon footprint in order to look at ways to improve the firm’s environmental impact. Our aim is to plan journeys effectively so that each journey is moving pallets, either by delivering or collecting. This will ultimately reduce the number of empty trips made and help to reduce our carbon footprint.
