2017 has been an incredible year so far and we are just over half way through it!
We are proud to say the team has been working extremely hard to achieve brilliant statistics and secure new contracts: it’s a very exciting time for us.
So far, this year we have:
- Done 2,200 used pallet collections
- Done 700 refurbished pallet deliveries
- Diverted 2,840 tonnes of wood waste from landfill through recycling and biomass energy recovery
- Delivered over 252,000 pallets, and,
- Collected 725,000 pallets for reuse
As you can see, we’ve been very busy bees here at the RPS headquarters and we aren’t slowing down!
The more used pallets we can collect, the more pallets we can reuse or recycle which means we can save more waste from landfill and help promote a circular economy.
We will keep you updated on our progress throughout the rest of the year. We can’t wait to see how high we can get these figures.
