We are pleased to announce the launch of RPS’s City Service.
We have developed this new offering to provide companies in cities with a used pallet collection solution, which is both responsible and cost effective.
Our logistics capability will include 3.5te – 12te vehicles in London, Birmingham and Manchester to collect smaller volumes of pallets, making swift pallet collections for reuse possible for every business.
Once a pallet is no longer needed it is considered waste and the UK has strict regulations that must be adhered to, making it even more important that all pallets are handled and recycled compliantly. In addition to saving on costs, the aim of this new provision is to clear used pallets and try to reuse them wherever possible, avoiding the last resort of chipping them for recycling or energy recovery. The increased volume of available reusable pallets will further benefit the environment in the long run. The City Service works to achieve the most environmentallyfriendly outcome and reuse the pallets for their intended purpose.
