On 15th August, RPS completed and passed their desktop audit for the accreditation of OHSAS 18001 : 2007. RPS have had a comprehensive Health & Safety Management System in place since the company commenced work 10 years ago, and with the success of another year fully compliant with ISO 14001 : 2004, the company decided to achieve the international recognised standard for health and safety, OHSAS 18001 : 2007.

The Health & Safety Manager, Jez Norton, and Environmental Manager, Thomas Hudson, have worked hard to put all the documents together to create an integral system and with the desktop audit success, it is clear that all the hard work has been worth it. With RPS's main ethos of reduce, reuse, recycle, we not only mean the reduction of packaging costs to our clients through reuse and recycling, we also mean reduction of accidents and incidents on site and the reduction of our energy requirement and waste generated by reusing and recycling where necessary. All RPS's efforts demonstrate the company's health, safety and environmental awareness to become fully compliant under the international standard.

Big congratulations for all the employees' efforts so far! Well done!
