We’re delighted to announce that we have become members of The Industrial Packaging Association (IPA), the industry body for the world of industrial transit packaging.
The IPA represents the leading UK and European manufacturers and reconditioners of industrial packaging. It was set up in 2004 to focus on the essential design, safety and environmental aspects of industrial packaging, to ensure the highest standards are maintained across the whole industry.
Membership of the association is a perfect fit for RPS, and customers of member companies are assured of the very highest standards of manufacturing, testing, quality control, life-cycle services and environmental care when purchasing packaging that needs to perform in the toughest environments.
The IPA also takes a keen focus on the reuse and reconditioning of packaging materials, something very close to our hearts at RPS. We collect and return pallets for reuse and only recycling them once they are no longer appropriate for reuse.
Up until now, membership of the IPA has largely focused on firms providing industrial drums and intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), so we’re proud to be one of the first pallet companies to join the association.
We have worked alongside IPA chairman Phil Pease for the past 15 years, and so we’re pleased to formalise our relationship through becoming members of the body.
