This month we’d like to introduce you all to Site Manager, Jez Norton.
Jez joined us in the early days in 2003, and oversees health, safety and site security at our busy depot in Maltby. He is responsible for maintaining a high level of health and safety and works closely with the senior management team to ensure that our exceptional standards are routinely met.
As an affiliate member of the Chartered Management Institute, Jez is a highly skilled manager and proficient in fulfilling his role. He has an NVQ5 in Operational Excellence which, bolstered by a host of other management and leadership qualifications, makes him the go-to guy for site safety management and maintenance.
Outside of work, Jez swaps the busy depot site for the impressive sights of nature. His holidays often take him to the Lake District with his family for fell walks, fishing and other activities in the great outdoors.
We are very proud of our exceptional health and safety records, and we owe a great deal of our achievements to Jez’s expertise. This is demonstrated with Jez playing a key role in RPS upholding our ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 accreditations.
Things you may not know:
- Jez is a real football-mad Dad and helping out with his local junior football team keeps his weekends busy to bursting!
- His football roots run deep – he used to play for a football team called The Dirty Pineapples!
