It’s not long now until will move to our brand new pallet HQ, an exciting relocation that takes us to a brand new five-acre site in Eaglescliffe. The move will give us the space we need to increase our monthly dispatch total to over 50,000 units - almost doubling our current capacity.
To fill all the lovely new space, we’re delighted to be investing in various new pieces of machinery, including a wood shredder. This will allow us to be more vigilant in assessing pallets and allow us to choose the most environmentally friendly outcome for all pallets, whether that’s reuse or recycling. We’ll be able to collect all pallets, save the good ones from the shredder for reuse and chip the remainder to recycle into animal bedding or biomass fuel. RPS will take the hassle out of pallets with an all-round service for all wooden pallets.
Another exciting investment at the new HQ – which we’re hoping to move into by the end of March – is the introduction of a ‘cash gate’, where people who have pallets to get rid of can drop them off for a rebate. We pay very competitive rebates and process all transactions compliantly. Of course, we’ll still offer our established collection service for local and national businesses, again offering highly competitive rebates for good reusable pallets.
Due to the rising volume of clients, we have recently increased our vehicle operator’s licence so we can add to our fleet as we grow our national collection service. Adding used pallet collections from the construction industry to our increasing retail and manufacturing customers, watch this space to find out more about our four-wheeled team members!
So, if you or your business have unwanted pallets hanging around – no matter what condition they’re in – our cash gate will be open for business from 1st May onwards.
