On Wednesday 13th March, RPS Director Tim Hutchinson attended a workshop presented by WRAP, providing information on how to develop business strategies for companies in the recycling and reprocessing industry. The workshop was followed by a tour of the Sims Metal Management site at Billingham, which was extremely informative and professionally presented.
The event was delivered by key WRAP and Ricardo-AEA staff which combined has many years of experience in the collections arena, including work for local authority and commercial collections. The experience of both organisations presented valuable information for all companies in the recycling and reprocessing industry, with particular emphasis on effective cash flow management, anticipating market changes and understanding your customers and competitors.
Tim Hutchinson commented: “I attended the event run by WRAP, which was delivered very well and I scored it 10/10”.
