The latest Twitter charity fundraiser has now finished and we managed to raise £80 for the Melissa Leech Lymphoma Association Tribute Fund – Registered Charity: 1068395. This article is to provide an update on the rules of our fundraiser and to let you know what our next fundraiser plans are.
How it works
On the first day of the nominated month a starting total will be taken of the number of @rps_limited twitter account followers. On the last day of the month, a final total will be taken in order to calculate if the number of followers has increased during the month. For every new follower RPS receives, £1.00 will be donated to the nominated charity.
There are numerous local charities that RPS would love to raise as much awareness and funds as possible for. This year, four charities have been nominated by RPS employees that will benefit from the monies raised. Below are a list of the charities and the month in which RPS will raise money for:
June 2013 – Melissa Leech Lymphoma Association Tribute Fund – Registered Charity: 1068395 – this time we raised £80.00 for the fund – thank you once again for your continued support.
September 2013 – Raising fund for the Friarage Hospital, Northallerton
December 2013 – South Tees Hospitals General Charitable Fund and Other Related Charities (James Cook Holistic Cancer Care) – Registered Charity: 1056061
