RPS support Great North Air Ambulance Service for last Twitter Fundraiser

RPS supported the Great North Air Ambulance Service in their final Twitter Charity Fundraiser. A fantastic £68 was raised by people following RPS on Twitter and re-tweeting our posts. It just goes to show how reusing not only packaging but tweets can help to save money, or in this case raise money for a valuable cause.

The Great North Air Ambulance Service is a charity which helps vulnerable people in times of medical need and is a great cause to raise money and awareness for. To achieve the £68 total Twitter users had to follow RPS and re-tweet any posts we put up – whether it’s was a tweet about the charity itself, the twitter fundraiser or business tweets relating to how RPS helps to save business time, money and the environment through effective packaging management.

As this was the last Twitter fundraiser in our schedule of charity events it was a unanimous decision that the Great North Air Ambulance Service would be the recipient of the money raise.

Over the two years that the fundraising scheme has been running, RPS has been able to generate in excess of £510 for local and cherished charities, such as Lupus UK, South Tees Hospitals and the Melissa Leech Lymphoma Fund.

Thank you to all that have taken part and we hope you all keep spreading the word to help raise vital funds for local charities.
