On Sunday 11th May hundreds of cycle enthusiasts will be donning their helmets and taking to the roads around Stokesley to raise money for a local charity.

The Stokesley 30 Mile Charity Bike Ride has been a firm fundraising event on the calendar for the last seventeen years. The event, which is organised by Paul Mackintosh, has raised thousands of pounds over the years for local charities in and around Teesside and North Yorkshire. RPS is proud to be the sponsors of this year’s event ensuring that for another year the charity bike ride can go ahead to raise funds for worthy causes.

This year the bike ride will raise funds for Herriot Hospice Homecare based in Northallerton. A requirement of the money being raised is that the cash is used for worthwhile opportunities in the region so there is a positive tangible outcome. In the past medical equipment has been purchased and customised facilities updated to benefit the local community.

If you would like to ride 30 miles and raise some sponsorship money please visit the Stokesley 30 Mile Bike Ride website – from there you can download an entry form. Or you can pop along on the day to support the cyclists who are already signed up.
