The RPS team is excited to announce we have recently passed our annual ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 audits. These audits ensure our integrated Health, Safety and Environmental Management System is run to the highest standard.

The ISO 14001 is an international set of criteria for environmental management systems, aiming to help organisations continuously reduce their negative impact on the environment and comply with applicable laws and regulations. The OHSAS is a British standard used internationally pertaining to health and safety.

Not only did RPS meet the standards, but keeping with its strong commitment to health, safety and environmental sustainability, our system and its operation left the auditor extremely impressed.

Ben Frisby, the auditor from QMS International, said: “The RPS Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety Management system is found to be highly effective and administered to a very high level.”

RPS was first accredited for ISO 14001 in 2011 and for OHSAS 18001 the following year. The standards are always evolving, with the introduction of a new British Standard to the ISO 14001, meaning that RPS will make changes over the next 12 months to meet the requirement.

By passing these audits year after year, RPS is incredibly proud to demonstrate its commitment to maintaining good practise and continually improving procedures.
