Defra consultation on waste prevention programme

If your business produces waste and you try to reduce the overall amount you create, this consultation is for you. Ahead of finalising the Waste Prevention Programme for England the Government is looking for views on the proposed vision, priorities, metrics and roles which look to reduce the amount of waste produced across the economy.

The final Programme will then take into account the views of the consultation and a summary of evidence will be published by the end of the year.

 

This consultation, which closes on the 23rd September, is addressed to individuals and organisations that have an interest in greater resource efficiency, reducing the amount of waste being produced across the economy and reusing waste when it arises.
