RPS collects all types of pallet nationwide, no matter what shape or size. The pallets we collect will be inspected, repaired and made available for reuse - it's that simple. Managing pallet disposal can take a lot of time and effort so that's why we're here, to take the hassle away.
How do we get started with pallet collections? Here are the three main types of collections that RPS can co-ordinate:
- REBATE COLLECTION
Pallets could make you some money. Some companies will handle many pallets which are good and reusable, even if they don't need them anymore. These pallets have value and RPS can pay competitive rebates for the reusable ones. Don't worry if they're damaged either - we'll collect and repair the pallets without reducing the value your rebate. - FREE OF CHARGE PALLET COLLECTION
This collection service is exactly as it suggests, a free of charge pallet collection. If you have a mixture of used pallets to collect, some may be beyond use and need recycling and some may have a small amount of residual value. RPS can arrange to collect them free of charge. Good pallets will be reused, and any scrap pallets will be shredded and sent for recycling or energy recovery. - SCRAP PALLET COLLECTION
These are the chargeable ones. Some pallets cannot be reused, even if they look good. There are many odd-shaped pallets which have a specific use and may only be used once. RPS can collect these pallets and shred them using our state-of-the-art shredding machinery. The woodchip will then be sent them for recycling or energy recovery. There is a charge for this service to cover transport and handling, and RPS can organise this on a national basis. In comparison, with the national average to collect pallets in skips at £350, RPS can collect more pallets on one truck from just £95 (subject to location).
RPS will arrange the collection of used pallets nationwide within 7 working days. We can collect from one site or multiple locations, so you have one point of contact for all your UK collection points. That also means just one duty of care audit too. By law, a used and unwanted pallet is waste. RPS collections are performed with the correct waste transfer paperwork, permits and licences. RPS is also ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 accredited to ensure full compliance.
RPS will organise the transport, handling and where necessary disposal of your pallets. If you have a minimum of 100 pallets and the collection is from a business, RPS can collect. Please get in touch for further details and to book a pallet collection.
