RPS has a 10 year history of successfully delivering an effective pallet recovery service on behalf of e-pvc producer Vinnolit. The pallet recovery approach embraced by Vinnolit conforms to the sustainability ambitions of the European Waste Framework Directive which is looking to encourage business to adopt a re-use rather than recycle strategy.
In 2011 RPS continued to maintain a domestic pallet recovery rate greater than 90% to help measurably reduce packaging waste compliance tax and lower its spend on new pallets. During 2012 the intention is to maintain the high recovery performance in the domestic market and look to grow international recovery as and when CP1 pallets are introduced.
