It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and a season of giving, so RPS has teamed up with a local scout group to recycle timber for a charitable cause.
The Cleveland Scout Group are raising money for their trip to Zambia in 2021. Over 50 scouts will be heading to East Africa to build a community centre for the local residents and for fellow scouts to use to learn and play.
To support this fantastic cause, we have donated over 120 wooden boards to the group and from the recycled material, the scouts are creating Christmas trees and snowmen – perfect festive decorations – and are selling them to the public. The funds raised from the wooden masterpieces will all go towards the group’s excursion.
The RPS team are thrilled to be supporting the Cleveland Scout Group and we wish them all the best in their fundraising efforts and for their trip in a couple of years’ time.
