We were thrilled to once again welcome Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen to our new Pallet HQ in October.
The visit allowed us to showcase the Eaglescliffe site now that it is up and running and it was great to be able to demonstrate how funding from The Business Compass Start Up Scheme has enabled us to design a high-spec site and also create jobs.
We were extremely happy to hear Ben was impressed with the quality of our site and the investment which we have made within the Tees Valley to secure the future of the business.
As big advocates of sustainability, it was great to be able to share with the Mayor how we promote the reuse and recycling of pallets over purchasing brand new ones. He was particularly pleased with our green policies to promote the circular economy and our commitment to reduce waste in as many ways as we can.
We were excited to demonstrate the variety and quality of clients and suppliers that we currently work with. As we also collect pallets from Europe, we explained how we work closely with European haulage companies to import and export pallets to Teesside, not to mention the deliveries of returnable packaging to the USA for reuse.
RPS is more than just a local pallet company and we are thrilled to be putting Teesside on the map!
