At RPS we work extremely hard to develop the company and we’re already on track with some great projects this year which we’d like to share with you.
At the moment we’re in the process of setting up our new venture, SPR Wood Recycling Ltd, in partnership with PR Pallets. SPR Wood Recycling, based in Aylesbury, will accept wooden pallets to be sorted good from scrap with the good being reused and the scrap chipped and recycled. The idea behind this is to help companies who struggle to dispose of mixed used wooden pallets, preventing them being thrown away and looking for responsible and economical recycling options. Updates on the set up of SPR will be posted over the coming weeks.
We’re sure you are aware of our recent yard enhancements. These are due to be completed by April and the team is excited to see the site development with the new roadways and pedestrian walkways in place.
Another team goal we wish to achieve is developing our working relationship with waste management companies. We would like to provide innovative and national pallet collection solutions by developing strong relationships with other waste management companies we’ll be able to provide great benefits to their customers.
Last year was great for RPS but we always aim to do better. This year we’re looking to increase our turnover by at least 25% and with our hard working team and set objectives we see no reason why we cannot achieve this goal.
And of course, how could we forget the highlight of the RPS calendar, our sponsorship of the annual Stokesley Charity Bike Ride which takes place on Sunday 8th May. We really look forward to this event each year as it gives us a chance to give back to the community and raise money for some amazing local charities. This year the charity is Bloodwise, the UK’s largest blood cancer charity which provides fantastic support to patients and their loved ones.
Overall we are looking forward to an exciting 2016 with many goals to achieve. We’re ready to face the challenges to ensure another successful year at RPS.
