Last week, RPS went on a trip to London to attend the National Recycling Awards 2016.
The annual awards, which celebrates the work of companies in the waste industry, saw RPS nominated for the Waste Prevention award for the work we’ve completed with our clients in successfully reducing their wooden packaging waste.
We were incredibly excited to attend the event, held at the Hilton London on Park Lane, and hundreds of people turned up donning black tie attire to celebrate the crème de la crème of the industry.
Companies such as Reconomy, Network Rail and Geneco all won in their respective categories, demonstrating the innovate work each business does in their sectors.
We sat next to fellow nominees, JPA Furniture and Marmax Recycling Products, and we had a fantastic night helping to celebrate the winner’s successes.
Congratulations again to all of the winners and the nominees, you all do fantastic jobs and together, we’re certainly making a massive difference to the environment.
